When people visit for the first time, they tend to have similar questions. Is this another retail shop? NO, though we do have a gift shop area. So you're a plant store? NO, though our plants are alive. Do you have to pay to get in? No, everybody is free to come in, but we do accept donations.
So what is this place? The Secret Forest L.A. is an interactive event venue that also serves the community as a peaceful and grounding third-space. It’s also a tribute to both creators' mothers as visual symbol of unexpressed earthbound desires as well as their talents and passions.
To Our Mothers
“Both of our mothers died within a year of each other of cancer and dementia. Jeannette was a gardening wizard and Hana was an artist. Together they had a common trait; neither truly allowed themselves to express their passions and joy out loud for all to see. So, we have for them! Creating a place to play, create, get inspired or simply appreciate the serenity.

Who Created the Secret Forest L.A.?
A Shared Artistic Vision
Drawing from their unique artistic perspectives, Artistic L.A. and KB5 Landscape Design have come together to create the Secret Forest L.A. The incredible atmosphere of this whimsical art installation is derived Artistic L.A.'s varied talents in creative mastery and artistic expression and KB5 Landscape Design's extensive experience with creating sanctuaries, natural landscapes, and pollinator gardens.
Artistic L.A.
Artistic L.A. provides a variety of entertainment services for private and corporate events, production shoots, movie premiers, concert performances, fashion shows, and more. These services range from specialized makeup for ad campaigns, body painted costuming for music videos, or d temporary tattoos at large-scale corporate events.
Artistic L.A.'s award-winning lead artist, Karina Konupek, thrives in creative environments. As a professionally trained artist, she is able to use her boundless talents in a variety of different mediums from fine arts to creative crafts. But an art installation is a new endeavor, and Secret Forest L.A. is allowing Karina to show the true scope of her artistic ability.
